For the Jade Jaguar Cinema Festival, we are looking for innovative and compelling films, characters that surprise and challenge, words that pop off the page, and narratives that turn live. The Jade Jaguar Awards may be given by the festival in recognition of outstanding achievements in filmmaking in each categories: Screenplay, Narrative feature, Short film, Animation, Experimental, Documentary, Music videos and Series. Submission Categories

Submission categories are necessary to define the characteristics of your work and the most appropriate criteria for evaluating it. Each year, we select feature films, short films, series episodes, animations, documentaries, music videos, experimental videos to be shown on the Festival's programs. Before you begin your submission, please read carefully the category below and select the one that best suits your project:

• Narrative Feature
  Any narrative or work of fiction with an execution time of 45 minutes or more, of any genre, including films shot in the "mockumentary" style.
• Documentary Feature
  Any nonfiction work with an execution time of 45 minutes or more, of any genre.
• Narrative Short
  Any narrative or work of fiction with an execution time under 45 minutes, of any genre, including films shot in the "mockumentary" style.
• Documentary Short
  Any non-fiction work with an execution time below 45 minutes, of any genre.
• Animation Short
  Any narrative or fictional work using any animation technique, with an execution time under 45 minutes, of any genre.
• Experimental Video
  Any narrative or non-fiction video, fiction or non-fiction, using any experimental technique, with no predefined execution time, of any genre.
• Music Video
  Any short film that integrates a song with imagery of any type or genre.
• Short Script
  Any cinema short film script, properly formatted, of any genre with less than 30 pages.
• Series
  An episode of a TV series or web series, of any genre, over 4 minutes.
